Lately, that value has been increasing even more. The Top Agent’s Insights Report published by HomeLight noted that since the start of 2020, the value a pool adds to a home has appreciated by 69%!

Data from the CDC shows that swimming is the fourth most popular recreational sport in the US and research from the Journal of Exercise Rehabilitation shows that swimming for just an hour three times per week can have a positive effect on your heart health, weight loss, and flexibility. A 2017 British Journal of Sports Medicine study tracking more than 80,000 adults, found that adults who swam had a 41% lower risk of death from heart disease.
