A Mother’s Wish: Victoria’s Story

Behind every transaction is a meaningful story. And Victoria’s is one that we will never forget.

After years of being in remission, Victoria was hit with the devastating news. Her cancer was back.

But what made her story so much more impactful was the undying positivity she showed through it all. Rather than letting the circumstances bring her down, she chose to focus on what was most important to her – her family. She wanted to make sure that they were taken care of, no matter what the future may hold. Victoria knew that their cramped apartment wasn’t where she wanted her four little children growing up. She dreamed of seeing them play in a spacious yard, decorate their own rooms like they always wanted, and have a place to truly call home.

So she and her husband decided to buy their very first house. It was a huge step for them, but one they couldn’t have been more excited to make.

After searching online, they met with Daniel (one of our agents) at a property that had immediately caught their eye. And once they saw it in person, the whole family fell in love. “The kids were just so excited, running through the house, playing hide-and-seek, talking about how much space there was to play,” Daniel shared with the team after the showing. Knowing that this was exactly the house Victoria and her husband were looking for, we walked them through the process and explained how competitive the current real estate market was. In order to beat out the tons of other interested buyers, they would have to submit a very strong offer.

For Victoria, it was worth it. If it meant creating those precious memories with her family, she was willing to go all in. A month later, they moved in to their dream home.
